Tangy in taste, and you can take it with paratha, puri, samosa, pakoda, and rice. Today we are preparing the recipe which is eaten by many people in the village or town. The name of that recipe is kadhi recipe or kadhi pakoda recipe. In India, people served kadi with different styles like roti with kadi, rice with kadi, Kadhi with kachori or kadhi with daal bati, etc.

kadhi recipe | kadhi pakora recipe | hing kadi pakoda recipe is a famous dish in Rajasthan. As I said earlier that it is taken by daal bati and also with kachori. The dish like kadi kachori is originated from Ajmer in Rajasthan. Here, people who live in Jaipur, Kota Ajmer, love kadi with kachori. If we talk about other states like Uttar Pradesh, people like to eat with rice. So somehow we can say that every Indian tastes kadhi.In many areas, people use meetha neem(Kadi Patta) in kadhi and other hing powder to make kadi, but my favorite is hing kadi, for that you should have good hing at your home there are many types of hing available in the market you can choose according to you.

  For pakoda Preparation:-

  • ¼ cup besan/gram flour
  • ½ tbsp chili powder
  • pinch of turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • ½ tbsp jeera
  • 2 tbsp water
  • oil for deep frying
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped


 For kadhi Preparation:-

  • 1 cup thick curd
  • 1-2 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • ¼ cup besan/gram flour
  • pinch of turmeric powder
  • ¾ tsp chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cup of water
  • Pinch of Hing

***Steps For Making***


   For pakoda

  • firstly, take ¼ tbsp of chili powder, Pinch of turmeric powder, salt, and green chili.
  • Then add ¼ cup of besan and make a sweet batter.
  • After that, make small balls with your hand and deep fry in oil.
  • At last, once pakoda turns golden brown, then drain them and keep aside.


   For kadhi

  •  Take curd and besan in a bowl and mix it, then kept them aside.
  • Now take Kadai on medium flame and put 1-2 tbsp of oil in it.
  •  Next, after 3 min adds 1/2 tbsp of jeera, add turmeric powder, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt, then saute it properly.
  • Then put the mixture of curd and besan in Kadai and put hing powder and Besan pakoda (as you made already) in it.
  • After that saute the mixture till 10-15 min and your Kadhi is ready to serve
